Gentlemen,
At a recent committee meeting in a drive forward to make the game more amicable for everyone and to try to reduce decent,poor play and aggression it has been decided from Monday 5th May 2014.
A YELLOW CARD IS 5 MINS ON THE BENCH WITH NO PLAYER REPLACEMENT
TWO YELLOW CARDS IN THE SAME GAME IS OFF FOR THE REST OF THE MATCH WITH NO REPLACEMENT
It is in every players interest now not to get sent off, your team will not thank you and persistent offenders will may well be asked to leave the club.
In addition and this will be confirmed shortly, the team leader or captain will be nominated before each game and will be given a “captains hand band” before each game by the referee, he will be responsible for his team, as in the rugby league at the moment the referee will be encouraged to go through the captain with on field issues rather than trying to speak with all players at once
This is a trial to the end of the season and we will review.
Gentlemen just a reminder DO NOT ABUSE THE BOOK SYSTEM, it has been recently, get organized and do the right thing, all players must be at the club to enter on to the book personally and so must the team leader, you cannot do it for someone else, also you can arrange a keeper but he must be put through the book-team sheet.
Please use the canteen facilities, its there for everyone before and after the game.
