Dear Members,
By now you may have seen the fantastic new goal posts and nets at our Club.
Being portable with wheels they are very mobile and just 2 guys can move them into place…PLUS the nets are always in place so it makes set up before 1st game and after final game VERY EASY!
The wheels are on an axis so when moving the goals they should be in the locked down position.
Once in place please ensure the wheels are turned upwards so the base frame of the goals sits flush on the ground.
The easiest way to move the goal posts is by pushing rather than pulling.
You will notice by each wheel is a yellow peg on a chain.
THESE PEGS MUST BE SECURELY KNOCKED INTO THE GROUND FOR SAFETY ISSUES – RUBBER MALLETS ARE IN THE GREEN BINS WITH THE CORNER FLAGS
After the last game of the evening please push the goal posts to between the pitches where they will be padlocked in pairs.
Note for Referees: It is the responsibility of the Referee to ensure the nets and posts are secure.
PLEASE ENSURE THAT BEFOR YOUR GAME STARTS THAT THE YELLOW PEGS ARE SECURELY IN PLACE ON THE BACK CORNERS OF THE GOAL FRAMES
