To all team leaders ' your team can still win its league thanks to our new final series!
You may already be out of the race for the minor premiership, but if you finish in the Top 8 (i.e. everyone), you'll qualified for the final series. So keep building your team and let your players know all about it. Here's how it will work: -
Week 1
Ranking based on final positions in the minor premiership.
1 v 8
2 v 7
3 v 6
4 v 5
Week 2
New ranking determined. Example: Assuming wins by 1, 2, 3, 4 ' ranking unchanged.
1 v 4
2 v 3
5 v 8
6 v 7
Week 3 ' Finals
New ranking determined. Example: Assuming wins by 1, 2, 5, 6 ' ranking unchanged.
1 v 2 (Grand Final)
3 v 4
5 v 6
7 v 8 (Relegation)
End of Competition
Promoted ' Minor Premier and Grand Final Winner. If a single team wins both, then the runner up from the minor premiership (i.e. first past the post) is also promoted.
Relegated ' Wooden spoon from the main competition and loser of the relegation match. If a single team loses both, then the second bottom team from the main competition is also relegated.
